Job summary

Groundwork London’s Youth Jobs Guarantee programme aims to place and fund wages for around 1000 young people over 18 months. You will support youths referred by JCP into subsidised placements, guiding them through six months and into lasting employment.

You will perform initial assessments, create SMART action plans, and work with Employer Liaison Team to secure roles. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and client focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable success in employer engagement.
• Experience with long-term unemployed job seekers and understanding their support needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments with clients and develop SMART action plans.
• Broker candidates into subsidised roles secured by the Employer Liaison Team.
• Support participants throughout their six-month placement and into sustained employment.
• Manage key outcomes, track targets, and ensure contract compliance.
• Handle your caseload autonomously while contributing to the wider team.
