Job summary

Millwall Community Trust is seeking an EET Outreach Employability & Mentoring Practitioner (0.5 FTE) to deliver outreach and drop-ins across Lewisham’s youth venues. You will provide high-quality IAG, help with CVs and applications, and refer participants to partner services, working flexibly across day and evening sessions.

You will recruit and track participants, maintain caseloads, and ensure safeguarding and GDPR compliance while collaborating with JCP and providers to map progression routes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability, mentoring, outreach or youth engagement activity.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Knowledge of Lewisham youth & EET support provision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned EET outreach/drop-ins across core and wider youth/community venues.
• Provide high-quality IAG across education, employment, training and work experience.
• Complete individual action plans & warm handovers to partner organisations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employers, training providers and progression routes.
• Record participant starts, attendance/engagement and EET outcomes.
• Undertake follow-up to evidence progression and positive destinations.
