Job summary

Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation is seeking a youth-focused educator to deliver the Premier League Inspires programme and related initiatives in partnership with schools across Teesside. The role emphasizes one-to-one mentoring and group interventions tailored to young people in need, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

You will work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, travel within the Tees Valley, and contribute to data collection and reporting to support

Qualifications

• Experience and/or understanding of basic youth work practices, including youth work and one-to-one mentoring as well as group activities
• Experience of working with children and young people in educational/ youth work setting
• A passion for improving and opportunity of young people from high-need areas and/or under- represented groups

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of one to one and group targeted interventions to children and young people who are referred to our Premier League Inspires programme. These sessions predominantly take place within school settings
• Build positive, trusted relationships with young people through implementing early and responsive intervention based on individual needs
• Be a positive role model for children and young people and provide non-judgemental support
