Job summary

Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation is seeking a Premier League Kicks Activator (Community Coach) to deliver high-quality, inclusive youth activity in the Tees Valley. Evening sessions and occasional weekends are required as part of the role, with safeguarding at the forefront of delivery.

You will be part of the Social Inclusion Team, working to reduce anti-social behaviour through sport and education, while promoting our core values of quality, inspire, teamwork, inclusion and integrity.

Qualifications

Experience of working with children and young people in coaching or youth work.
Emergency First Aid Certificate or willingness to work towards.
FA Safeguarding Children Course or willingness to work towards.
UEFA C Licence (or willingness to work towards).
Other Level 1/2 coaching qualification from a recognised National Governing Body.

Responsibilities

Engage and support young people attending Premier League Kicks sessions within the Tees Valley, encouraging active and regular participation.
Deliver and facilitate evening youth provision in community settings, with a flexible approach, including coaching, refereeing and youth work.
Build positive relationships with participants and colleagues; ensure inclusive practice and safe environments.
Promote the Foundation's values and work collaboratively with staff to ensure high-quality youth engagement sessions.
Contribute to data and impact measurement with the Data and Impact Coordinator and attend required meetings.
