Job summary

Nottinghamshire Women's Aid Ltd in Worksop is seeking a part-time post (18.5 hours across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) to support young people and teenagers affected by domestic abuse in their own intimate relationships and within the family home.

The role includes delivering healthy relationship and domestic abuse awareness packages in schools/agencies, and delivering group work including the Escape the Trap programme to children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

Qualifications

• Certificate/qualification in work relating to children/young people and experience working with child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support young people and teenagers affected by domestic abuse in their own intimate relationships.
• Support young people and teenagers affected by domestic abuse within the family home.
• Deliver healthy relationship and domestic abuse awareness packages within schools/agencies to educate young people and enable informed choices.
• Deliver group work to children and young people affected by domestic abuse, including the Escape the Trap programme.
