Job description

Overview

BDS Recruitment are currently looking for 2 x Youth Development Workers to work within the Redruth and Penzance area. We are looking for someone innovative and creative in their ways of working to engage with a range of young people. The role will be based in supported accommodation for young people aged 18-25.

Responsibilities

• Working through support and action plans.
• Updating risk assessments and risk management plans.
• As a specialist in tenancy sustainment, ensure that young people are able to maintain their excluded license and tenancies and can access services that are appropriate to their needs, strengths and aspirations.
• Developing the life skills necessary to move on and live independently in the community.

Role Details

Hours per week: 37 hours on a rota pattern.

Contract: Temp ongoing role.

Pay rate: £14.82 per hour (PAYE) or £19.22 umbrella.

Please note you will require your own transport for this role and any mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
