Job summary

Manchester City Academy is seeking a skilled coach to support the Youth Development Phase. You will assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate training and matchday coaching to help young players progress within the City Football philosophy.

You will contribute to individual learning plans and collaborate with coaches, recruitment teams and parents to drive development across multiple age groups, aligned with the Club’s EPPP strategy.

Qualifications

• UEFA B Licence is required.
• FA Youth Award is required.
• Experience coaching Youth Development Phase in an Academy.
• Ability to identify and develop football talent through age-appropriate coaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions for players in the Youth Development Phase.
• Deliver matchday coaching and support player progression.
• Contribute to individual learning plans and development programmes.
• Collaborate with academy staff, multidisciplinary colleagues, scouting and recruitment teams, and players’ guardians.
• Support delivery across other Academy age groups when required and align with the Club’s EPPP strategy.
