Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Bristol is hiring a Youth Development Worker for a 12-week temp-to-perm role in a housing setting. You’ll support 16–25-year-olds, help craft action plans and risk assessments, and work on-site to help residents build life skills and achieve personal goals.

You will lead group activities, integrate with an on-site team, and provide encouragement to move into the community, while maintaining professional boundaries. DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Drive to support young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Understand young people’s needs to tailor action plans.
• Passion for immediate care with safeguarding and mental health support.
• Resilient and flexible when dealing with others.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with plans.
• Willing to work solo or in a team.
• Positive, creative, can-do attitude while maintaining boundaries.
• Hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support young people (16-25) in a Key Worker role.
• Provide and update action plans and risk assessments.
• Encourage residents to achieve goals.
• Be part of on-site team supporting residents' living needs.
• Help develop life skills to move into the community.
• Lead and support group activities within learning program.
