Job summary

YMCA Humber is seeking passionate youth workers to deliver structured sessions at the Youth Club in Grimsby. You will inspire, energise, and motivate young people aged 5–18 in a safe, inclusive setting, tailoring activities to diverse needs and helping develop life skills.

Working with a collaborative team, you will support outreach, mentoring, and community projects while promoting positive relationships and confidence in young people.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering structured sessions in youth settings.
• Ability to plan and adapt activities for ages 5–18.
• Commitment to inclusive, safe, and supportive environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured sessions within the Youth Club.
• Collaborate with Team Lead on outreach initiatives.
• Build connections with young people beyond the club.
• Mentor, support, and guide participants in activities.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.
• Lead sports, art, and community projects.
• Provide peer mentoring and help manage emotions and behaviours.
