Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting a Youth & Classroom Cover Specialist to work across Wirral secondary schools from September onwards. You will supervise classes, ensure work is completed, and maintain a positive learning environment for pupils aged 11-16.

Ideal candidates include Youth Workers, Sports Coaches, Drama Instructors, Graduates or experienced Cover Supervisors with strong behavior management and communication skills. The role offers flexible daily shifts and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with children aged 11–16 in youth, coaching, or classroom support.
• Excellent de-escalation and behavior management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to obtain/has Enhanced DBS on Update Service.

Requirements

• Experience: Strong background working with young people (aged 11-16) in settings such as youth clubs, sports coaching, mentoring, behavior support, or classroom assistance.

• Adaptability: Ability to step into different secondary school environments across The Wirral with energy and resilience.
