Job summary

Empire Fighting Chance in the West of England is seeking a Box Champs Coach to work with disengaged and at-risk young people. You will lead one-to-one and group sessions, combining non-contact boxing with psychosocial approaches to build resilience and confidence.

Travel to schools and off-site venues is included, with evenings and some weekends required. You will plan sessions, maintain records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support young people's mental health and personal

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience working with young people (essential).
• Experience with vulnerable or at-risk youth (desirable).
• Full and preferably clean driving license (essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide Box Champ support to young people aged 8–25 in gym and schools.
• Plan, deliver and report on sessions with boxing and psychosocial elements.
• Maintain records and support report writing as needed.
• Work evenings and some weekends as required.
• Build positive relationships with young people, carers and services.
