Christ Church Stannington is seeking a passionate Youth and Kids Leader to enhance our growing ministry. This role focuses on leading volunteers, fostering community ties, and implementing strategic initiatives to engage youth and families in the church's mission. The position offers a competitive salary and a chance to make a substantial impact in our community.
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £26,500 - £30,000
We believe this is a brilliant opportunity for the right candidate! Joining the team at Christ Church Stannington means becoming part of a church with a growing youth and kids ministry, a committed team, and a desire to go deeper in discipleship and further in mission. In 2023, Christ Church received a ‘graft’ (a group of 35 adults and children) from St Thomas Crookes to boost the mission and ministry in Stannington, and since then, God has been at work in many ways.
Our mission and ministry have grown significantly, and we now need a Youth and Kids Leader to help us continue this growth in depth and breadth. This position is partnered with the Diocese of Sheffield’s ‘Centenary Project’, which provides support for many other youth and/or kids workers.
You will lead and develop a team of volunteers, strengthen links with local schools, and be part of the Centenary Project Network.
