Job description

Essential Duties:

Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Assist with set-up, decorations and safety checks before events.
Host and engage children and families in activities, including pool activities, events, camps and holiday events.
Assist parents signing their children in and out and checking identification.
Be knowledgeable of and comply with the club standards, policies and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations at all times.
Ensure knowledge of all children's allergies and special needs.
Supervise children and use good judgement when in our care. Adhere to all rules regarding young members.
Assist with handling kids' meals.
Communicate effectively and inform immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and react appropriately.
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety and secure locking of children's playroom.
Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

High School education or equivalent required.
Must possess CPR and First Aid certification.
Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients and employees.
Must possess excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written, and positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to get the attention and cooperation from young members.
Excellent team player with ability to work hands on in a fast-paced environment.
