We are seeking a Relief Bank Worker (Support Worker) to join our team on a relief/ad-hoc basis. You will provide support across our sites in Blyth, offering basic assistance, advice, and guidance to vulnerable individuals. This includes working with young people aged 16-24 with complex needs living in supported housing.
You will support service users as needed and undertake administrative tasks within the office and reception to assist the wider team. This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, and employment offers depend on receiving two satisfactory references.
We welcome applications from those able to work weekends and unsociable hours, including night shifts, as the role requires independent working.

To be considered, you should have an awareness of safeguarding issues and experience supporting vulnerable clients. You will need to work well in a team, support a busy scheme, and remain calm and positive in demanding situations. The ability to assess and manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment, along with a commitment to high-standard customer service, is essential.
A UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required, as some travel between two offices will be necessary.
