Overview

Are you passionate about supporting young people? Do you have experience or interest in working with children and families affected by substance misuse? We have exciting Recovery Worker roles available in a well-established Young Person's Substance Misuse Team across Oxfordshire!

In this role, you'll be delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions to young people impacted by substance misuse—either personally or within their families. You'll play a key part in promoting resilience, wellbeing, and long-term success for young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of young people
  • Conducting assessments, care planning, and structured interventions
  • Supporting children impacted by familial substance use
  • Encouraging service user engagement and involvement in care decisions
  • Collaborating with local youth services, schools, and family centres
  • Flexible, person-centred approach to care
