Up to £29,813.88 per annum. This typically includes 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri), 16 hours per weekend (every other weekend), plus 4 sleep-in shifts per month. Please note this will be prorated for part-time hours.
The Support Worker increases the independence and skills of young people, promoting engagement with education and employment through flexible, person-centered, outcome-focused support. The role involves helping young people avoid eviction and repeat homelessness, and developing their capacity to move on to less intensive or more permanent housing solutions. The role requires working closely with various support agencies, mental health teams, landlords, law enforcement, social services, and others, within the Ofsted framework. The post holder will work within the Psychological Informed Environments Framework to ensure clients can make sustained life changes.
You will be confident, enthusiastic, innovative, and willing to share your safeguarding, welfare benefit, and assessment knowledge. Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including sleep-in shifts, is essential. You should have a passion for learning and developing skills, motivating clients, and working with young people facing complex challenges.
