Housing Support Worker – Young People

Location: Solihull | Type: Temporary | Pay Rate: £16.65 per hour (Umbrella)

We are recruiting for an organization that specializes in supporting individuals with homelessness and mental health needs. As they expand across the UK, they are looking for dedicated Support Workers to contribute to their high-quality services.

Vacancy Details:
  • Position: Housing Support Worker (Temporary, covering long-term sickness)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Location: Solihull
  • Pay Rate: £13.05 PAYE or £16.65 Umbrella
  • Requirements: Experience in homelessness prevention for young people in independent living; enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce
Responsibilities:
  • Support young people to engage with services, participate in assessments, and develop support plans around their health, wellbeing, and housing
  • Plan, implement, review, and evaluate interventions to promote understanding and self-care
  • Assess housing and support needs, risks, and develop strategies to prevent homelessness
  • Ensure young people facing discrimination or stigma due to mental health, substance misuse, or offending receive fair access to services
