Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher passionate about shaping the early years of a child's education? We are seeking a committed Year R Teacher to join a vibrant primary school we are working with in Gosport, starting after the Easter holidays.

About the school

Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting provides a rich and exciting curriculum, and we are looking for a creative and passionate Year R Teacher to join our supportive team and inspire our youngest learners.

The Role

As the Year R Teacher, you will:

  1. Deliver high-quality lessons that foster a love of learning and curiosity in young children.
  2. Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that supports the development of all children.
  3. Plan and assess in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, ensuring that each child makes progress.
  4. Work closely with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's development and celebrate achievements.
  5. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the whole-school ethos of inclusivity and creativity.

About You

The ideal candidate will:
  1. Be a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  2. Have experience in teaching Year R or within an Early Years setting (desirable but not essential).
  3. Have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how young children learn.
  4. Be passionate about helping young children develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
  5. Show excellent communication skills, a creative approach to teaching, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
