What is the job role?

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Undertake professional duties as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
  • Teach pupils aged 3–11 years.
  • Ensure high-quality teaching, effective resource use, and excellent standards of learning, achievement, and behavior.

As a Year Leader, the candidate will also need to:

  • Oversee daily and weekly organization of a year group.
  • Work with the AHT for the phase to ensure curriculum delivery and resource allocation.
  • Plan enrichment and outside learning opportunities.
Who are we looking for?

  • Be passionate about learning and demonstrate outstanding teaching leadership.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a clear curriculum vision.
  • Understand the needs of different children and be committed to providing the best for all.
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and leadership roles in this area.
  • Contribute to organization and policy development.
  • Possess the personality, drive, and energy to motivate and support our learning community.
