Job Description
- Prepare and review year-end financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Support the external audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Analyse financial data and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulations.
- Address discrepancies and propose adjustments where necessary.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline year-end procedures.
- Provide guidance on financial best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and trustees as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Year End Consultant should have:
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
- Strong experience in year-end financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to the Not For Profit sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- An organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
