A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Year 7 Teaching Assistant to support students' reading skills at a secondary school in Stockport. Your role will involve working closely with Year 7 students, creating inclusive reading programs, and fostering a love for literature. This temporary position starts in November 2026 with the possibility of extension. Candidates with educational experience are preferred.
Year 7 Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate KS3 Teaching Assistant to join the dynamic team at a client secondary school in Stockport. The successful candidate will work closely with Year 7 students to support their reading skills and foster a love for literature. The school is based in the heart of Stockport and boasts an onsite car park for staff with a vehicle, but is also accessible via public transport, being a short walk from a local tram stop. This position will start in November 2026 and, depending on how the successful candidate progresses in the role, may be extended until the end of the academic year (July 2026).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
