Job summary

Qualifications

Commencing Term 1, 2027, we are seeking a Year 7-8 kaiako to join our high-performing, Year 7 and 8 team.

The successful candidate will be:

• culturally responsive - naturally weave mana-enhancing, culturally responsive practices into your everyday teaching, holding high expectations for all ākonga


• literacy and numeracy-focused - possess strong pedagogical knowledge in Mathematics, alongside training or familiarity with Structured Literacy approaches, to effectively support and accelerate foundational learning


• tech-savvy - agile with digital tools and competent using a range of student management system platformsto track student achievement and streamline administration


• collaborative -thrive in a team environment that values innovation, professional growth, and collective excellence


• a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the understanding and ability to teach using culturally responsive and relational pedagogy is essential.
