Job summary

Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao is seeking a certificated teacher to join a high-performing, collaborative team. The role covers Years 3–8, with flexibility to teach in Year 3/4, Year 5/6, or Year 7/8 spaces, alongside another teacher and about 55 ākonga.

You will foster strong relationships with ākonga and whānau, apply curriculums, pedagogy and assessment to achieve excellent outcomes, and contribute to a lively local curriculum.

Qualifications

• Must hold current teaching certification as a certificated teacher.
• Experience in primary/intermediate education (Years 1–8) preferred.
• Ability to teach across Year 3–8 spaces and work in a small teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Teach in Year 3/4, Year 5/6, or Year 7/8 learning spaces with another teacher.
• Build effective relationships with ākonga and whānau.
• Deliver strong literacy, maths and inquiry programmes to support learning.

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our highly collaborative teaching team. You will teach in either our Year 3/4, Year 5/6, or Year 7/8 learning spaces, work with one other teacher and approximately 55 ākonga.
