The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a Year 6 Teaching Assistant for one of our partner schools in Sunderland. The position is full time and will be starting January 2026.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience in working with small groups of children. You will promote good behaviour and positive values at all times to impact teaching and learning.
Our Durham office works specifically with schools in the region and as well as this position we have regular day‑to‑day and long‑term supply assignments.
Candidates must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification or have recent school experience.
The Education Network Durham are also recruiting for full‑time and part‑time TA and Nursery Nurse positions across the Northeast so we can be as flexible as you require, whether you are looking for short‑term work to work around other commitments or long‑term full‑time positions, we have something for everyone!
