Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities

1. Responsibility for the pastoral care of children entering Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and creating a conducive learning environment.
2. Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and areas for improvement.
3. Monitoring children's progress and reporting back to parents as needed.

Year 6 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
