The Role:
As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning needs. You will help prepare our students for their SATs and ensure they are ready for the next chapter of their educational journey. You will work closely with colleagues to implement creative and enriching lesson plans that challenge and inspire pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Assess pupils’ progress and provide targeted interventions to support their development.
  • Prepare students for SATs and ensure they are confident and ready for secondary school.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methods.
