Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Leyland from December, covering a maternity leave on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will have proven Year 6 teaching experience, be confident with SATs preparation, and able to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons within a supportive Year 6 team. The classroom is small and pupils are well-behaved and motivated.

Qualifications

• Year 6 teaching experience essential.
• Experience preparing and delivering SATs.
• Confident with Year 6 curriculum and assessment.
• Ability to plan engaging, differentiated lessons and manage a class.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time Year 6 lessons in Leyland and support pupils.
• Create and assess engaging, differentiated lessons aligned to the Year 6 curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and positive relationships with pupils and staff.
