Year 6 Teacher position in Wolverhampton, starting in September

Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

This primary school is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for all its children. They are committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

The school is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 6 teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will have prior experience working with Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes. Responsibilities include planning and preparing engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of the children, supporting lower-ability children and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), collaborating with the classroom Teaching Assistant, monitoring and assessing student progress, and engaging with parents and carers to support children's development.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 classes
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
