Are you a passionate, dedicated teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher to join our warm and welcoming primary school community in Burnley, starting in September 2025.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our Year 6 pupils, preparing them for a successful transition to secondary education. This is a fixed-term position for one academic year, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience in teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including SATs preparation
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
