Supply Desk are working with a dynamic and inclusive 2 form entry primary school in Strood, Medway who are seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive team for the upcoming academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 6 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments and support their transition to secondary education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
