Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time Temp to Perm
Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Hemel Hempstead This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a crucial academic year, whether you are available to start in September 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing pupils for their SATs and the transition to secondary school, while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a Year 6 class, delivering the KS2 curriculum effectively and creatively
  • Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring strong academic progress and confidence
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a range of tools and strategies
  • Foster a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
  • Maintain open communication with parents and carers to support learning at home

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
