We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and nurturing school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school and supporting them through their final year of primary education. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
2. Provide excellent teaching of English and Maths to ensure pupils are well-prepared for end-of-Key-Stage 2 assessments (SATs).
3. Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and inform next steps.
4. Establish a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment.
5. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers and staff.
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and trips.

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Recent or relevant experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
• High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.
• A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as a Year 6 Teacher.
