Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a passionate Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Bedworth, Warwickshire, for a full-time role from November until Easter. You will deliver engaging KS2 lessons and support SATs preparation.

The successful candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, monitor progress, and work with colleagues to ensure high standards and pupil wellbeing. QTS and an enhanced DBS are required; CPD and career progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching Year 6 in primary setting preferred.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for their Year 6 SATs, focusing on English and mathematics.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
