Location: Walthamstow

Full-time, 5 days per week

Salary: M1 Outer London £36,413 - £48,532

Teach Plus is currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Walthamstow, dedicated to delivering high-quality education within a supportive and nurturing environment.The school is seeking a motivated and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences while preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school.The school provides a collaborative environment with strong leadership and supportive colleagues, making it an ideal setting to continue developing your teaching practice.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
➢ Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils in your class
➢ Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
➢ Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum
➢ Prepare pupils for SATs and support them in making a confident transition to Year 7
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support progress and attainment
➢ Use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform teaching

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
➢ A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 6
➢ Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally with knowledge of SATs preparation
➢ A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting every child to succeed
➢ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
➢ UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
