Job description

A school in Norfolk is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support pupils in their learning journey, helping them to develop confidence and a love for learning. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  2. Support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential
  3. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support learning
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  5. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil development
  6. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS2, preferably Year 6 (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils
