Your new company

Hays Education is working with a wide range of schools, from small primary schools to large 2-form entry schools around Perry Barr, Handsworth Wood, and Great Barr area. As we approach the end of the summer term, schools are looking for part and full-time upper key stage 2 teachers / Year 6 teachers for September.

Your new role

You will be responsible for planning lessons, focusing on Maths and English, and creating engaging afternoon lessons to capture children's interests. You will also mark all work and attend staff or parents' evenings during the summer term.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be a confident and passionate Year 6 or upper key stage 2 teacher with a calming presence. Knowledge of Year 6 SATs and expectations is desirable but not essential. You must be able to create a safe and secure classroom environment where children can thrive and enjoy their final term.
