Year 6 teacher jobs for the summer term, working 3-5 days per week, competitive day rate

Your new company
Hays Education are working with a wide range of schools, from small primary schools to large 2 form entry schools around Perry Barr, Handsworth Wood and Great Barr area. With it being the summer term already, schools are on the look for part and full-time upper key stage 2 teacher / Year 6 teachers to support for now and into September.

Your new role
Your new job as a Year 6 teacher for the summer term, working on a part or full-time basis, would be to work in a school and support the children throughout their SAT's.
You will be responsible for planning lessons and will be focusing on Maths and English whilst creating afternoon lessons that are rich and broad to capture the interests of the children. You will be required to mark all work and also attend any staff or parents evenings during the summer term.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this new job, you need to be a confident and passionate Year 6 or upper key stage 2 teacher that has a calming nature and presence in the classroom. Year 6 SAT's knowledge and what to expect is desirable but not essential. You must be able to create a classroom that feels safe and secure to allow the children to flourish and enjoy their final term of primary.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will get guaranteed work on a part or full-time basis, for the summer term. You will be paid to scale as a M1 - M6 teacher.
