About Us: At Prospero Teaching , we specialize in connecting talented educators with schools that value excellence in teaching. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school community. This position is available for an immediate start and will continue until the end of May 2025, following the completion of SATs.

Job Description: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for their SATs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Providing targeted support to students to help them achieve their best in SATs.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback and intervention where necessary.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 6 students, particularly in preparation for SATs.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
