Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join vibrant primary schools in Bexley. This role offers the opportunity to engage with enthusiastic learners and contribute to their educational experiences as they prepare for their transition to secondary education, in a supportive and inclusive setting.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver highly engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 students.
  • Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes a sense of community, safety, and inclusion among students.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods to ensure lessons are comprehensible and engaging for all students.
  • Regularly assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to effectively implement the school curriculum and uphold school policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, with a strong preference for Year 6 experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 2.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
  • Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
