Role: Year 6 Primary School Teacher
Rate of pay: £700 – £900 P/W – Dependant on experience
Location: Birmingham, Nechells
As a Year 6 Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning during the absence of the class teacher at a key stage in pupils’ education. You will be expected to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, confidently deliver pre‑planned lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum, and demonstrate strong, consistent classroom management to maintain high standards of behaviour and learning. The role involves supporting pupils with consolidation of key skills, including reading, writing, and mathematics, while fostering a focused, calm, and purposeful learning environment. You will adapt effectively to different school settings, follow school policies, and ensure pupils remain engaged and motivated as they prepare for the transition to secondary education. This role is ideal for a teacher seeking flexible opportunities across primary schools while gaining valuable experience in upper Key Stage 2.
