Qualiteach Education Group is recruiting a Year 6 Teaching Assistant for a friendly primary school in Islington for the full academic year, term-time only. You will work closely with the Year 6 class teacher to support pupils’ learning and build confidence throughout the school day.

The role involves one-to-one and small group support, literacy and maths focus, SATs preparation, and promoting positive behaviour and independence among pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Year 6 teaching assistant.
• Support pupils with learning in Year 6, including literacy and maths.
• Prepare pupils for SATs and monitor progress.
• Promote positive behaviour and classroom routines.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with day-to-day learning and in small groups.
• Assist the class teacher with lessons and activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
