Hays Education Wirral is working with a 1-form entry primary school in Birkenhead looking for a Year 6 teacher. This full-time position starts in September 2025 for an initial duration of one year.

Your new role

As the Year 6 teacher, your responsibilities will include preparing children for their SATs and their transition to secondary school. You will have support from one full-time Teaching Assistant, but will be responsible for all planning, marking, and assessment for the class.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Hold QTS
