The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Year 6 pupils, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, assess and track pupil progress, and contribute to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
