Job Description:

A really lovely school which was inspected by OFSTED in February 2025 and received "Good". They are looking for a Year 6 teacher to join them on a full-time basis once their SATs have been completed. Their current Year 6 teacher has been on long-term sick leave. To minimize disruption during this important year, the Deputy Head has temporarily taken over the class during SAT week.

The new Year 6 teacher is expected to start on Monday, 19th May, on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. This position may extend into September, with further details to be confirmed closer to the time. The school is charming, with well-behaved children. They have a unique double-decker bus in the playground, converted into the school library. The school staff are experienced and welcoming, with a strong reputation.
