KS2 teacher – Everton (L3)

- Key Stage 2 class teacher

- Full-time, temporary position

- Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’.

- £150-£200 per day (dependent upon experience)

A Primary school in the Everton area are in need of a strong Key Stage 2 teacher to cover a Year 6 class. The role is full-time, and the successful candidate will be employed through Teaching Personnel. This class is made up of 30 children who are all eager to learn. There is one full time Teaching Assistant in the class and behaviour management is something that is a strong focus within the classroom currently.

The school team strives to create a welcoming atmosphere in and around the school and the local community. The school aims to provide children with a wide range of opportunities and extracurricular experiences to help develop their creativity and love for learning. This is an average sized school which prides itself on its close-knit and community-driven ethos. Most pupils have made good progress during their time in Key Stage 2; therefore, you will need to be able to plan and deliver creative and informing lessons to ensure that sufficient progress is made, and children are kept focused and engaged. This role would also be suitable for an ECT with experience working within KS2, looking to develop their pedagogical expertise, and this school would certainly provide an excellent and supportive environment to do this.

- Qualified Teacher Status.

- Two positive graded references from yourtwo most recent employers.

- Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS.

- Right to work in the UK.

- Experience of teaching in Key Stage 2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
