Step Teachers is seeking a Year 5 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Barnet, London. The role supports pupils with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities, assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one and small-group support for Year 5 pupils.

• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Promote positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum.
