Job summary

Philosophy Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for a 2-form entry primary school in Brent, starting September 2026 on a full-time basis to support learning and lead targeted interventions in English and Maths. You will work across the Year 5 cohort, providing classroom support, assisting teachers with lesson delivery, and helping pupils build confidence and close learning gaps.

Strong literacy and numeracy skills and a solid academic background are welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential for supporting Key Stage 2 learners.
• Experience delivering targeted English and Maths interventions is highly beneficial, though not essential.
• The role involves leading small-group interventions and supporting teachers across the Year 5 cohort.
