About the role

A mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching assistant to join their team on a full time basis from September - July 2026 working in their Year 5 class.

You should-

- Have experience working with primary aged children ideally in Key Stage 2

- Be able to work on your own initiative, being able to identify where support is needed in the classroom

- Be able to work well in a team and have strong communication skills

- Be empathetic, caring, supporting and able to support children with different levels of needs

- Be proactive and able to adapt to the demands of a busy classroom

- Holding a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
