Responsibilities

• Lead the Year 5 phase and collaborate with teaching staff to develop effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans

• Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience as a Year 5 teacher, ideally with experience in a leadership or phase lead role
• Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies
• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
