A well-established primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis starting in April 2025. The Role:
  • Teaching a Year 5 class and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Planning and implementing differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of the students.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and setting individual learning goals.
  • Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring they are prepared for the transition to Year 6.
  • Collaborating with the Year 5 team and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to teaching and learning.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress and development.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 5 or similar primary year groups.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience planning and delivering effective lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Passionate about teaching and learning, with a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexible and proactive with a strong focus on the academic and emotional well-being of students.
